Metamo Industries was proud to have our animated piece "Art Reactor" showcased as part of the Osaka EXPO 2025.  An anamorphic animation designed to highlight the unique features of the "SHINING HAT" building on the EXPO grounds, the building facade opens up to reveal a futuristic energy reactor combining different artistic elements into more powerful states of matter, culminating with the message "Art is the clean energy that drives society and culture", a mantra that represents Metamo's commitment to creating engaging and dynamic large scale public art installations that transform the physical world and inspires the next generation of artists.

This video show, featuring projection mapping works created by artists from around the world, illuminates the exterior walls of the “Shining Hat”one of the symbolic buildings of the EXPO Hall. The projections, each lasting between 30 seconds and 1 minute, were created in line with the theme of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” The works, created by a diverse group of creators both from Japan and abroad, reflect themes that transcend nationalities, ethnicities, positions, environments, and generations, offering a wide range of messages for the future and their visual expressions.

Out of a total of 201 submitted works, 109 pieces (41 from Japan and 68 from overseas) have been selected, and will be screened every night over the course of the six-month Expo period, in six separate sessions.
