METAMO had the pleasure of creating the key artwork, “Liquid Studio Singapore”, for the launch of Mercedes Studio Singapore in Gardens By the Bay in August 2026. The imagery created is an evolution of a biomechanical image synthesis technique that began 5 years ago, creating hypnotic holographic prints from photos of HDBs and other iconic Singaporean architecture in what became “Liquid Singapore Designs v1.0”  The images are abstract but contain enough visual information to somehow be recognizable.  This new version sees images  “grown” with custom code and generative algorithms trained on photography and renders of the Mercedes Studio, GBTB with its lush greenery, and the famous lattice structures of the Super Trees; each still image mimics the lighting qualities and textures of the garden while mixing together the essential elements of the space into new but familiar forms and colors.  Every image is a unique organism. 

“Liquid Studio Singapore” artwork was featured as large scale prints for the platforms in the Mercedes Studio as well as a short procedural animation shown indoors demonstrating the evolution of the form created for the event.
