Our entry for @1minutepm projection mapping competition shown as part of @tokyolights_jp on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, a dream come true for us to showcase our artwork on a truly iconic structure and one of the most prestigious projection mapping festivals in the world. "Signal and Source," a concept by Metamo Industries for the One Minute Projection Mapping Tokyo 2026, explores the theme of dialogue by reinterpreting fifteen years of the studio's creative history through generative AI. By using past works rooted in street culture and digital art as the source for our generative workflows, the project creates a collaborative exchange between human artistic intent and machine intelligence, effectively merging manual artistry with computational precision. Projected onto the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the installation transforms the architecture into a dynamic canvas where the past and present engage in a continuous, visual conversation.
