All living beings seek inspiration, motivation, and figures to admire. I see this not only in people, but also reflected through my recurring monkey characters. Like us, they look up to heroes and idols, adopting their identities through costumes, symbols, and improvised objects in an attempt to become someone they admire.

This series of collectible toys reinterprets the universal idea of idolisation and aspiration. Each figure embodies the playful innocence of imagining oneself as a hero while celebrating the creativity found in transformation and make-believe.

Designed as tabletop companions, these toys exist somewhere between sculpture and playmate. Whether displayed as an object of admiration or kept close as a companion, they remind us that the heroes we look up to often inspire the person we eventually become.
