Celebrating the official opening of The Bridge Gallery (TBG), this inaugural group exhibition unites fourteen visionary local artists to explore the foundation of our cultural and creative ecosystem. Every culture is anchored by its origins, and The Roots: Origins of Singapore Contemporary challenges these creators to excavate their beginnings on multiple fronts—delving deeply into their personal heritage and the genesis of their chosen mediums.

By presenting these unfiltered discoveries, the showcase collectively builds a definitive perspective on contemporary street and subcultural art. It elevates the raw pulse of the underground into a profound cultural statement, championing the 'marginal art' that forms the true, vital foundation of our city's creative landscape.
